Experienced Portland Career Guidance
Tap into my 18 years of successful corporate experience, my Masters degree education in Counseling Psychology, and my training as a Life Coach. Plus, access my wide network of professional contacts in the Portland-Vancouver area that can help you investigate almost any career option.
Before my own mid-life career transition, I managed training and human resource development functions in a number of local firms, including First Security Bank and Intel. In 1993, I decided to tackle a life-long dream to become a career development counselor so that I could help others do what they love, and love what they do.
My background in the corporate world in the Portland, Oregon-area provides me with “road-tested” insights into the local job market, and how the hiring process really works in local organizations.

This recent article titled “The Incalculable Value of Finding a Job You Love” speaks so well to the work I do as a career development professional.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I practice in accordance with the Code of Ethics adopted by the Oregon State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists. I also actively participate in numerous local professional organizations, and I regularly attend continuing education courses and professional conferences.
